Hachi Dental Clinic's Mission
To help everyone avoid needing dental treatment
Every day, we fight diseases together with our patients.
Tooth decay, periodontal disease, malocclusion...
However, many oral diseases can be prevented.
Furthermore, tooth decay and periodontal disease cannot be completely cured.
Preventing disease from occurring.
Preventing disease from progressing further.
This is our true mission.
To achieve this mission, we focus on five key areas.
Know Yourself
Do you know how many teeth you have?
Yes! Those of you who just counted with your tongue one by one! How many was the correct answer?
You probably haven't thought much about the number of your teeth before.
Only 10-20% of people at our clinic know the exact number of their teeth.
Just as you know you have two eyes, one nose, and ten fingers, you need to know how many teeth you have in your mouth. Of course, people with basic dental knowledge are naturally better at proper tooth brushing.
First, learn about your mouth - that's the first step toward oral health.
Know the Disease
Tooth decay and periodontal disease are adversaries we must fight against.
Unfortunately, current dental medicine cannot completely eliminate tooth decay and periodontal disease. What we can do is not to eliminate them completely, but only to treat them temporarily.
If we cannot eliminate them, it's important to maintain a healthy oral environment to prevent tooth decay and periodontal disease from occurring quickly, focusing on prevention. Surprisingly, many people are unaware of this fact. By knowing your opponent (the disease) this way, you can understand how to deal with it and focus more on future prevention.
Know How to Fight
The fighting methods actually vary depending on age, gender, occupation, personality, living environment, dental condition, and various other circumstances. This is something you can't understand without visiting a dentist and consulting with specialists.
The crucial point is that it's too late once the disease has occurred. Knowing the proper way to deal with diseases is truly important, so we will wholeheartedly provide thorough support.
Prevent Disease
The important thing is to practice steadily every day. Having knowledge about diseases alone won't prevent them if you don't actually act on it.
Continuing to practice is essential. If you continue, it becomes a habit, and once it becomes a habit, not doing it feels uncomfortable. We sincerely hope you reach the point where you can't feel satisfied without brushing your teeth!
Because if you can prevent diseases in advance, you won't have to experience pain or pay high costs. Good things ultimately come back to you. This applies not only to oral health but to everything in life. Let's work steadily every day.
Be Grateful for Health
When you're healthy, it's difficult to appreciate the value of health. We often realize the importance of something only after we lose it - this happens frequently in daily life.
Being able to live healthily every day is truly something to be grateful for. When everything is fine, we want to have the peace of mind to humbly appreciate that state.
Through our interactions with all of you, we want to communicate this gratitude for what seems ordinary but is actually precious, helping contribute to both our own and our patients' mental and physical health.
Finally...
We staff members learn a great deal from people who have become ill
and gain extensive experience from them.
We hope to give back this knowledge and skills to many people.
As a bridge connecting the medical knowledge learned from our predecessors to the next generation,
and to create a better world,
we hope to help create "medical care that doesn't require treatment" and "a world that doesn't require caregiving."
