Teeth alignment treatment that supports
children's healthy growth.
We explain the overview of
myortho treatment.
We explain the outline of myortho treatment.
Natural method to grow
teeth alignment and jaw
Myortho treatment is early preventive orthodontic treatment that works on the root causes of poor teeth alignment, improves harmful habits, and helps the jaw grow properly so teeth can align in ideal positions.
By working on the root causes, it promotes natural growth.
Treatment performed in
over 100 countries worldwide
Recent research shows that genetics, small jaws, or large teeth are not the main causes of children's crooked teeth.Myobrace® is used by dentists and orthodontists in over 100 countries, and millions of children worldwide have achieved natural teeth alignment through this method.
Treatment that can bring out
children's potential
Unlike conventional orthodontic treatment, myortho treatment uses Myobrace® mouthpiece-type devices and training to grow teeth alignment and jaw.
Myortho treatment training brings out children's inherent abilities through training.
We introduce some research on myortho treatment

Treatment effectiveness of
Myobrace® for malocclusion
Conventional orthodontic
treatment has limitations
Myobrace Research Company (MRC), the manufacturer of Myobrace®, has discovered that the causes of children's poor teeth alignment are not genetics, small jaws, or large teeth, but oral habits such as mouth breathing, tongue habits (placing the tongue between teeth or pushing it forward), thumb sucking, and pushing the tongue forward while swallowing are the root causes.
Based on years of research and experience accumulated by MRC, various devices have been developed and are used by children worldwide.
It is reported that using Myobrace from an early age combined with training can guide children to ideal and natural teeth alignment.
We explain the treatment goals and effects that myortho treatment aims for.
Goal
To guide natural development of jaw and teeth. Following treatment instructions has effects beyond teeth alignment.
We explain the mechanism of myortho treatment.
Open mouth with tongue
not touching the upper palate
Insert Myobrace® to guide
tongue to upper palate
and close mouth
Enable proper tongue position,
nasal breathing, and guide jaw
to develop to its
natural size
Myobrace® is worn in the mouth for 1 hour during the day and at night to improve wrong habits and apply gentle force to enlarge the upper jaw while correcting the position of teeth and jaw. The device and treatment method are determined according to the child's growth speed and teeth alignment condition.
Furthermore, oral muscle training is performed to guide teeth and jaw to proper growth and function.
What age is best to start myortho treatment? We answer this question.
Malocclusion treatment methods vary depending on purpose, timing, and oral condition.
We explain the differences from other orthodontic treatments.
Among various orthodontic treatments, myortho treatment focuses on root causes and is performed according to the child's growth.
No matter how beautifully teeth are aligned through orthodontics, if bad habits remain, they will eventually return to the original teeth alignment. To prevent returning to the original poor teeth alignment, addressing root causes is necessary.
We explain possible issues that may occur with orthodontic treatment.
Conventional orthodontic treatment often starts after all permanent teeth have erupted (around 12-13 years old), when jaw and facial growth is almost complete.
If the jaw hasn't grown sufficiently, there's insufficient space for teeth alignment, so healthy teeth may need to be extracted.
Also, if lip and tongue habits are not improved before aligning teeth, no matter how beautifully aligned, teeth may return to their original position (relapse).
Furthermore, areas with orthodontic devices may develop cavities, and the force to move teeth may cause root resorption.
We explain what myortho treatment values.
Myortho treatment considers not only teeth but also facial growth, oral muscles, and the whole body.
Minimizing the use of wires is also one of myortho treatment's goals.
Is daily posture correct? Are there any wrong habits around the mouth?
Can oral health be maintained? Are they living a healthy daily diet?
All of these are subjects of treatment.
Why does Hachi Dental Clinic
promote myortho treatment?
We explain why myortho treatment
is good for children.
It's said that 3 out of 4 children have problems with mouth and facial growth.
Take a quick look at your child's face. Is their mouth open or do they sleep with their mouth open? Keeping the mouth open and wrong use of oral muscles actually hinder proper teeth alignment and facial growth.
At Hachi Dental Clinic, we believe that improving these causes as early as possible is the best way to guide children to proper growth, and we are working on myortho treatment.
What exactly causes poor teeth alignment? We tell you the real reasons.
Mouth breathing
Wrong tongue position
Wrong use of
lips and cheeks
Wrong
swallowing pattern
These wrong (bad) habits and the forces of tongue, cheeks, and lips greatly affect tooth position and jaw growth.
It's known that genetic factors, large teeth, or small jaws are not the main causes of poor teeth alignment.
Wrong habits such as mouth breathing, tongue habits, wrong swallowing patterns, and thumb sucking are said to be direct causes of poor teeth alignment.
If the tongue and lips cannot function properly, it results in poor teeth alignment or insufficient jaw growth.
Recently, there are many children with allergies and asthma, and children with open mouths, and these symptoms are closely related to poor teeth alignment and jaw/facial growth.
Children's facial growth is influenced by the muscles around the face.
When these muscles function properly, they can maximize the child's growth and achieve great effects not only in oral and facial growth but also in health.
We explain what effects can be obtained through myortho treatment.
Improve wrong
oral habits
Promote optimal facial development for the child
Improve
teeth alignment
Help improve constitution and health function
Develop healthy
lifestyle habits
Children receiving myortho treatment soon change to having a "toned, good face" after starting.
When faces change, children seem to gain confidence, becoming more positive about various things, smiling more, and improving communication skills! They enjoy "changing" and work hard on training themselves, always wearing trainers for the designated time, and even develop self-motivation.
The change to a "toned, good face" is also related to changes in "breathing".
When breathing improves, allergies and sleep disorders that trouble children improve, concentration increases, and the body changes to one that can focus more easily on studies and sports.

Daily wearing of myortho is essential.
To achieve ideal results, children's motivation and family cooperation are indispensable!

The tooth replacement period is difficult for brushing and very prone to cavities. Protect teeth with your own strength! We thoroughly practice toothbrush training.
Learn proper
breathing
Breathing that we do naturally every day.
Breathing with an open mouth (mouth breathing) causes poor teeth alignment. Mouth breathing is a sign that the body is not being used properly. Let's learn breathing!
Tongue and lip
training
Where is everyone's tongue? Tongue position is very important for teeth alignment. Always keeping lips closed is also very important. Let's do tongue and lip training to achieve natural teeth alignment!
Proper swallowing
training
How you use your tongue and lips when swallowing drinks, food, and saliva actually has a very big impact on teeth alignment.
We also train proper swallowing methods.
We explain what we focus on in our training.
Hachi Dental Clinic's myortho treatment is
suitable for these children!
Myortho treatment is a treatment we want to deliver to all children, but especially children who are concerned about teeth alignment, as well as children who catch colds easily, have open mouths, or have asthma or allergies can feel very effective results from this treatment.
Furthermore, through myortho treatment, some children experience effects such as improved concentration, developing self-motivation, and improved sports performance. We want to deliver this treatment to families who "work hard together as a family".
Myortho treatment improves bad habits through training,
learns how to use the body, and guides to natural teeth alignment.
We've collected FAQs about
myortho treatment.
We've compiled frequently asked
questions from parents.
What age is best to
start treatment?
We recommend starting around ages 6-7. Jaw growth begins immediately after birth and is said to be almost complete around age 15. Improper jaw growth and crooked teeth are actually signs that proper overall growth and development are not occurring.
While it's ideal to start treatment as early as possible, since children's self-motivation is very important for this treatment, we recommend starting from ages 6-7.
How long does treatment take?
Individual results vary, but effects usually begin to appear after about 6 months. Treatment duration depends on habits and oral condition at the start, but a minimum of 2-3 years is necessary.
No matter how beautifully teeth are aligned, if the original wrong habits remain, relapse will occur.
The goal of myortho treatment is to improve wrong breathing, tongue, lip, and swallowing patterns. Even after treatment completion, if these habits remain, monthly visits are required for observation.
What kind of children need
myortho treatment?
When looking at children's faces recently, I often feel that most children need myortho treatment.
Dark circles under eyes, no gaps in teeth, allergies and asthma, open mouth posture are signs that growth and development are not going well.
At Hachi Dental Clinic, we believe this is necessary treatment for all children.
We're busy with lessons, worried about daily training.
Daily training is homework! Myortho treatment won't be fully effective without wearing the mouthpiece for the designated time and doing daily training.
Even if busy with lessons, school homework is always done.
Training is the same. Daily training is essential.
While it's difficult until training becomes habitual, family members working together with children on training like "daily necessities" such as brushing teeth after meals is key to treatment success. If home training cannot be done, we may not recommend treatment.
Is there any pain?
Since it's a silicone device, there's no pain with proper use.
However, if moving it around in the mouth or having wrong tongue, lip, cheek usage or swallowing habits, mouth sores may develop or gums may hurt.
Also, you may feel pressing pain on teeth when waking up, but this is evidence of proper trainer use at night, so it's not a problem.
Usually pain subsides in 2-3 hours.
Compared to bracket treatment, pain is minimized.
The trainer breaks
quickly.
With proper use, it can be used without problems for over 2 years, but wrong use causes breakage.
It's important to place upper and lower teeth and tongue in designated trainer positions and not move them around.
Also, it's important not to talk while wearing the trainer.
If breakage occurs due to wrong use, you may need to purchase a new trainer.
How often are visits?
Initially after starting, visits are about every 2 weeks.
Once trainer use and training are established, it's about once a month.
Visit frequency may change depending on the degree of wrong oral habits and oral condition.
Transfer makes it difficult
to continue visits.
At our clinic, even if treatment cannot continue due to unavoidable circumstances like transfers, we provide referrals to clinics at your new location.
Please consult about fees.
Is retreatment ever
necessary?
While said to be the treatment method with least relapse, if wrong tongue, lip, cheek habits or swallowing patterns are not improved, relapse is possible.
If habits cannot be improved or treatment compliance cannot be obtained, bracket orthodontics may become necessary.
